Shadow of Death 2

The first fight with Deamon was all trial and error for the twins. Jovanni decided to face the rest of the clan because unlike Deamon he wasnt afraid of them. in fact he coudl take them all without trying. Deamon commands Death itself and he does not want to fuck with those odds.

Tobias and Kai are a different story. Kai does not fear death especially in book one and Tobias not wanting to leave his side stuck with him. They at first tried to atack individually but that proved more of a lost cause then actually helping anyone. So they attacked together.

Deamon does have the edge of both size and power on his side. oh yeah and the death thing. but he has never faced Dhampeals before. Tobias uses a 3rd of his feral rage in this fight becuase he starts to learn how to use it Kai discovers his abilitie to summon black fire to and uses that. he does not have the sword of Redemption in this fight bc this happens before it but they do put up a fight that pisses off Deamon. it is this fight that propels him with the obsession of consuming the souls of the brothers. Though in future battles he allies himself with them it is only becasue he has no other choice.

Deamon is powerful on his own but his clan is one of the strongest and most feared Vampire clan. he does not ally himself with the Anteduluvians or the Fledgeling clans as he feels he is more powerful then either. But he is not a villain either. he ism ore of an anti-hero and he has his own side story which is the same title as the art piece here. Deamon Grave is the god of Death and few can stand up to him.
